Other Areas of Practice

In addition to personal injury, our offices also handle various other areas of law.

These include:

Our offices are experienced in Bankruptcy law, which can be used to help in many situations.  Bankruptcy can help with repossession, foreclosure, garnishment and lawsuits just to name a few.

There are two chapters of bankruptcy available to consumers:

Chapter 7 – Commonly called a liquidation bankruptcy.  This chapter grants qualifying debtors total relief from their debts.

Chapter 13 – Bankruptcy under this chapter are sometimes referred to as reorganization bankruptcy.  They allow a debtor to retain possession of most of their property while they repay a percentage of their debts over a period of 3-5 years.

It is important that you meet with an experienced attorney that understands the nuances of these laws to help you determine which route is best for you.

Real Estate and Foreclosure Defense

Foreclosure Defense

• Loan Modification

• Workout Agreements

• Forbearance Agreements

• Short Sale

• Deed-In-Lieu of Foreclosure

Many homeowners are having trouble paying their mortgage and may be facing foreclosure.  Our offices will work directly with your lender to workout a solution that fits your budget and needs.

Also, it has been estimated that as many as 10% of all homes are "underwater" (worth less than what's owed).  In this situation, many people are choosing "strategic default" and our offices are prepared to help you get away from this burdensome debt.
